YarT Photography is a cultural association based in Bologna (Italy) promoting photography art and providing resources for the development of documentary photography, photojournalism and fine art. Yulia Tikhomirova

is Italy based Russian photographer and curator. Born in Saint Petersburg in 1981, she became interested in photography and visual communication while graduating from Journalism Faculty of Saint Petersburg State University. She worked for several years as correspondent for a German-Russian monthly and later moved to Bern, Switzerland to coordinate Russian editorial office of the Swiss Radio International. She pursued her interest in photography by enrolling on a photography course at Bologna Fine Art Academy. In 2010 she earned her Master's Degree in Photo Editing from the Rome Luiss Business School.

Tikhomirova collaborated with various photography associations like FotodepartamentTerraProject, Rodchenko Photoraphy School Moscow, 10b Photography.

In addition to her work as a curator of photography exhibitions and events for YarT Photography collective, she is in charge of Photography Workshops in Saint-Petersburg, Moscow and Rome and of long-term curatorial project FRESH! Young Italian Photographers.

Anna Iuzzolini

graduates in Communication Sciences at Bologna and Siena University, following visual language studies and she specializes in Semiotics of the Arts. She attends a year of studies in Advertising and Public Relations at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, during which collaborates at the tenth edition of Photo España.

She wins a scholarship to attend the Advanced training course in New Journalism - Photo Editing organized by the italian weekly magazine Internazionale at Luiss Business School, Rome. At the end of this course she works for a short period as photo editor of Internazionale. She spends six months in San Francisco, where she works at the Italian Cultural Institute, dealing with organization and promotion of cultural events.

Since 2010 collaborates with the collective of documentary photography TerraProject and from 2011 she holds the position of project coordinator, dealing with planning, fundraising and joining the photographers in the development of collective projects, from the concept to the final editing.

In 2012 she enters in the managing board of Yart Photography working as curator and planner of photography projects.

At present she is photo-editor of weekly magazine Pagina99
